07 Jun MEGRAME EXPORT IS INCREASING ITS FOREIGN TRADE NETWORK
UAB “Megrame Export”, part of the Megrame group – leader of glazing solutions in Lithuania and the Baltic States is increasing their export network to Europe. The target for 2010 is to increase export by 40 %. Last year the company opened an office in the Ukraine and is planning to increase manufacturing export to the Ukraine by 30%.
Agnis Magelinskas, Managing Director of Megrame Export, observes recovery signs around Europe in the construction sector highlighting new export opportunities and niches. The turnover and export manufacturing volume has grown each year since 1999 when we first started exporting. Our financial results show exporting to Europe (UK, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Norway, Denmark) Ukraine and Russia increased by 55 % in 2007 and 2008. A slower export growth was observed in 2009, due to the shrinking foreign markets and a remarkable decline in the construction sector in many European markets.
Megrame manufacturing is known for quality and ecology and complies with all European quality standards. We are competitive in foreign markets because we can guarantee our products are of the best quality, high performance, stylish, competitively priced, superbly engineered, long lasting and energy efficient. The company is continuously investing in new technologies to catch up with global tendencies in manufacturing windows, doors and curtain walls of timber, timber aluminium, and uPVC. The Megrame Group also provides additional services including consultancy, design, logistics, installation and maintenance to guarantee the ultimate quality of our products.
